Paralelo Bolivia is an independent information site about the US dollar in Bolivia. We publish a live reference for the parallel (P2P) rate and the official rate of the Central Bank of Bolivia, plus practical guides.
We are not an exchange house. We do not buy, sell or hold currency or crypto, and we never ask for bank or wallet details.
How we calculate the rates
- Parallel rate: every 5 minutes we read the first 10 public USDT/BOB ads on each side at Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget and MEXC. We take the median per platform and then the median across platforms, which limits the effect of outlier ads.
- Official rate (TCO): taken from the Central Bank of Bolivia website each time it is published.
- Other currencies: converted with international exchange rates, refreshed every few hours.

Editorial standards
Every guide cites its sources, preferably official ones (Central Bank, ASFI, Customs, bank fee schedules), and shows when it was last reviewed. If something is not verified, we do not publish it. Advertising and affiliate links are labeled and do not affect the rates we publish.
